Buyer's Hope can provide the necessary funds for down payments and closing costs that will allow Lenders to close more loans. It is also an excellent option for builders and realtors.
In the HUD handbook, section 4155.1, REV-4, and in Mortgagee letter 00-08, the government allows for a gift toward the purchase of a home, and does not require the borrower to qualify or repay this gift.
The program is simple and easy, and it can work for any Lender. Simply have the Seller or Builder agree to a Service Fee, complete the Grant Application, and the money will be wired or delivered to the closing agent of your choice.
Grants are available for Conventional, FHA, or Sub-Prime loans. Buyer's Hope funding is available for any loan approved by your underwriters for closing.
