Buyer's Hope can provide Realtors® with a world of new prospects. As you know, many new prospective home buyers in today's market are credit worthy but lack the necessary funds for a down payment and closing costs on a home of their own. Buyer's Hope can provide them with the funds they need to buy a home of their own. And this means more prospects for you.
In the HUD handbook, section 4155.1, REV-4, and in Mortgagee letter 00-08, the government allows for a gift toward the purchase of a home, & does not require the borrower to qualify or repay this gift.
The program is simple and easy, and it can work for any Realtor®. Have the Seller or Builder agree to a Service Fee, have your Lender complete the Grant Application, and the money will be wired or delivered to the closing agent of your choice.
Grants are available for Conventional, FHA, or Sub-Prime loans. Buyer's Hope funding is available for loans approved by your underwriters for closing.
